WHAT IS GOLD FILLED?
Gold filled is made from a thick layer of 14k gold that is bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal, usually jewelers brass. This bond is much stronger than traditional gold plating, does not rub off, and is tarnish resistant. Please remove before showering and swimming in a pool or hot tub to prevent damage to the porcelain beads.
