✨ Please remove your jewelry before showering or swimming. Minerals in the water, soap, salt water, chlorine and perfumes can all damage your gold filled and sterling silver jewelry.
✨ Always remove any jewelry with stones or pearls before showering and swimming. Water can be very damaging to pearls as well as some stones.
Please remove jewelry before exercising or doing any activity where your jewelry may get caught on something.
EARRINGS:
I will include clear backs with your hook. and post style earrings. Please be sure to use these every time you wear your earrings to help keep your earrings secure a prevent accidental loss.
Voulez Designs is not responsible for lost jewelry or jewelry that is broken due to normal wear or accident.
⚠️ ALLERGIES:
- Most people with metal allergies can comfortably wear gold filled jewelry. However, if your jewelry becomes uncomfortable for you to wear, please discontinue wearing it immediately.
- Jewelry is made or assembled by me in my finished basement home studio. I take precautions (such as not eating in my studio and washing my hands frequently) to keep my workspace clean. I also sanitize my work surfaces frequently. My studio is in my home and I also have a hypoallergenic dog.
What is gold filled?
- Gold filled is a very thick layer of real gold that has been bonded with heat and pressure to a brass core. It is much thicker and stronger than gold plating and is a wonderful and affordable alternative to solid gold jewelry.
- Gold filled must contain at least 5% (or 1/20th) real gold by weight. I use 14k gold filled (aka 14/20) materials when making my gold filled jewelry, which is the standard in the jewelry industry. Quality is very important to me and I only buy my gold filled materials from well known and reputable companies.
Will it tarnish?
- 14k gold filled is tarnish resistant.
- Sterling silver will begin to tarnish when exposed to oxygen and moisture. Please keep sterling silver dry and stored in an airtight bag when not wearing. Frequent cleaning with a jewelry cloth is also recommended. Please do not use chemical cleaners on jewelry with pearls or stones. Wearing your sterling silver can actually keep it clean and slows tarnishing!
How long will it take to receive my order?
- Most of my jewelry is made to order. Please allow me time to make and process your order. This is usually about 3-5 business days (not including time in transit) but will be longer during busy times, such as before holidays or after a sale. Current processing times will be in the announcement bar at the very top of the home page. This does not include time in transit. Jewelry ships from Utah.
- PLEASE make sure your address is correct BEFORE submitting your order! If you notice any errors, please contact me as soon as possible.
- Priority Mail can be purchases at checkout. These orders will be made and processed as quickly as possible.
- Once your package is in possession of the USPS, it is out of my control. I can not be responsible for lost or mis-delivered packages. If this does happen to your order, please contact me immediately and I will help as much as I can on a case by case basis.
