Voulez jewelry is not intended for children 12 years or younger. Jewelry contains small parts, can break, and is a strangulations and choking hazard.

CARE AND SAFETY

We recommend removing your jewelry before showering or swimming. Minerals in the water, soap, salt water, and chlorine can all damage your gold filled and sterling silver jewelry. If you do choose to wear your jewelry in the water, please rinse and dry it to help extend the life of your jewelry.

Always remove any jewelry with stones or pearls before showering and swimming. Water is actually very damaging to pearls, as well as some stones.

Gold filled and sterling silver can be cleaned with a jewelry cleaning cloth or with some warm water and a mild dish soap, such as Dawn. Please avoid harsh cleaning products when cleaning your jewelry. Never clean jewelry with pearls or stones with chemicals. Ultrasonic cleaners can also be damaging.

Please remove jewelry before exercising or doing any activity where your jewelry may get caught on something.

Jewelry should not be worn while sleeping for safety reasons and to also prevent accidental breakage.

Voulez Designs jewelry should never be worn by children under 3 years of age. Jewelry poses choking and strangulation hazards.

Please also be cautious and careful when wearing your jewelry around babies and young children. Do not leave children unattended with any jewelry. Please be mindful of any jewelry that may have fallen on the ground when around young children. Chains may break if pulled.

Voulez Designs is not responsible for lost jewelry or jewelry that breaks due to wear or accident.

Stones are pretty strong, but could crack or break if dropped on or hit against a hard surface.

Gold and silver discs and bars can also become scratched. Please store your gold filled and sterling silver jewelry in air tight baggies to help prevent scratching from other stored jewelry and tarnishing. Always make sure your jewelry is dry before storing.

EARRINGS:

I will include clear silicone backs with your hook and post style earrings. Please be sure to use these (or something similar) every time you wear your earrings to help keep your earrings secure and prevent accidental loss.

NECKLACES & BRACELETS:

While our dainty chains are strong enough to hold up to most daily wear, they can become easily damaged and could possible break. If they are pulled or get caught on something, like clothing, the links may stretch and eventually break. Please check your necklaces, and any other jewelry, often for damage.

ALLERGIES:

Most people with metal allergies can comfortably wear gold filled jewelry. However, if your jewelry becomes uncomfortable for you to wear, please discontinue wearing it immediately.

MY STUDIO IS IN MY HOME AND I HAVE A SMALL HYPOALLERGENIC DOG.

Jewelry is made or assembled by me in my finished basement studio. I take precautions (such as not eating in my studio or office and washing my hands frequently) to keep my workspace clean. I also sanitize my work surfaces frequently.
